(Villisca) A Villisca woman was uninjured in a rollover accident this (Thursday) morning.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says 42-year-old Nichole King was driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup westbound on 210th Street, about a quarter of a mile east of Vine Avenue, at around 10:00 a.m. when a smaller gold Chevy, that was eastbound, crossed the centerline causing King to swerve to the right onto the shoulder to avoid an accident. The snow and icy conditions caused the truck to slide up the ditch embankment and roll, coming to rest on the passenger’s side.
Villisca Fire and Rescue responded and King refused treatment. The damage to King’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000. The gold Chevy continued eastbound and it is unknown if the driver knew there had been an accident.
