(Ames) A number of construction projects are moving forward at Iowa State University following approval today by the State Board of Regents. ISU Vice President Warren Madden says the projects include a partnership with the City of Ames to improve and expand the Scheman building.
“This would in essence renovate the Scheman continuing education building and build an addition to that which would add about 30 thousand square feet of flat floor space,” explained Madden.
Ames will pay half of the 39 million dollar cost. Other projects being approved included a new dorm, a bio sciences center and continuation of improvements at Jack Trice Stadium.
