(Woodbine) Two city officials in the Harrison County town of Woodbine resigned this week.
According to the Omaha World Herald, the Woodbine City Council voted Monday to accept the resignations of City Administrator/Public Works Director Joe Gaa and Police Chief Gary Dull. Neither went into detail into why they were resigning, except Dull did tell the World Herald that the council wants to go in a different direction.
The council went into closed session Monday night and voted 3-2 to accept Gaa’s resignation. During a closed session that same night the council voted unanimously to accept Dull’s resignation.
Gaa told the council his last day would be February 14. Dull’s last day on the job will be February 28.
