(Council Bluffs) Two Council Bluffs businesses were robbed over the weekend.
The first one occurred at about 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say two men wearing bandanas robbed the Kum and Go convenience store near 21st Street and Fifth Avenue. Authorities say one man was armed with a knife and the other was carrying a club. Police found footprints that led to a getaway vehicle.
The second incident occurred early Sunday morning at a Filling Station at South 16th Street and 2nd Avenue. Authorities say a man pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene after receiving the cash.
