(Atlantic) A 16-year-old girl was injured this morning in a single-vehicle rollover accident south of Atlantic.
Cass County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jon Westering says the sheriff's Office recieved a call at around 7:23 a.m. of a vehicle that was lying upside down in the ditch approximatley three miles south of Atlantic on 620th and Memphis Streets.
While enroute Westering says it was relayed to them that there was a subject in the ditch who had possibly been ejected during the accident. When they arrived a 16-year-old female, identified as Chelsie Adams, of Atlantic, was located near the crash scene. Westering says the vehicle rolled several times.
Westering says the subject was complaining of back injuries, but was upright, breathing and communicating. He says she was transported to CCMH by Medivac and Atlantic Fire and Rescue. And later transported by ground ambulance the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
