(Corning) A Taylor County woman was arrested Friday while trying to post bond for an inmate in the Adams County Jail.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Theresa Moses, of Lenox came into the Sheriff’s Office along with another female to post bond for an inmate. While standing in the lobby, Adams County Dispatch and Deputies smelled a strong odor of alcohol. She left the Sheriff’s Office after she was approached by deputies and returned to her vehicle parked outside the jail. Deputies confronted her and determined that she was intoxicated and was in possession of an open container of alcohol, which she admitted to.
Moses was taken into the Sheriff’s Office and arrested for Public Intoxication and Open Container of Alcohol. Her bond was set at $765.00 cash.
