(Des Moines) The Iowa Attorney General’s Office has issued its “top consumer complaints” for 2013. Spokesman Bill Brauch says at the top of the list is issue related mortgages.
“In about 2007 home mortgage wasn’t even on the radar screen and it has been number or number two since about that,” stated Brauch.
Other top complaints include; debt collection, used vehicle sales, cell phones, vehicle credit, subscriptions, add sales, foreclosure rescue scams and issues related to satellite TV.
The Iowa Attorney General’s Office typically handles about three thousand formal consumer complaints per year.
