(Atlantic) Cass County Health System's $22.5 million addition and ronovation project is nearing completion. An Open house will be held Thursday, January 16th, to show it off to the public.
Hostptal CEO Pat Markham says a lot of changes have been made to the health system facility in the last two and a half to three yeras.
"We had an open house in June of 2012 but we've had a lot of changes since then, different departments that we have moved around and relocated, doing cosmetic upgrades most of the rest of the facility, so there is a lot to see, also the new services like our Hydrotheraphy pool which is a completely new service for us."
The last open house drew a good crowd and they are hoping as many will show up this time around.
"We did it in June of 2012 and we had a very good crowd, so we'd like to see people come out again for that. I realize it's cold and it's awful weather but we tried to do it earlier in the afternoon so you can get out before it gets dark"
Thursday's open house will be held from 3-6pm. Tours will be self-guided with staff on hand to give directions and answer questions.
