(Creston) A Union County man will serve jail time for his part in a multi-agency child pornography investigation.
According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa, Michael Hanold, of Creston, was one of four others sentenced as part of “Project Save Childhood” initiative.
Hanold was sentenced to four years. He must serve five years of supervised release following his prison sentence and register as a sex offender.
The investigation concentrated on the trading of child pornography on internet file sharing networks.
