(Area) The Quinnipiac University poll shows former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would defeat all challengers save one. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie outpolled the former first lady 45-to-40%. Women prefer Mrs. Clinton 49-to-40% while men support Christie 51-to-30%. In another matchup, Clinton gets 45% to 44% for Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. She tops Senator Ted Cruz of Texas 48-to-41% and leads former Florida Governor Jeb Bush 47-to-40%. Voters indicated both Christie and Clinton would make good presidents but the poll found negative feelings for Paul, Cruz, Bush, and Vice President Joe Biden.
