(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department reports one arrest, vandalism and busted an underage drinking party over the weekend.
According to the latest Police Report, Officers received an anonymous tip that directed them to 1211 Durant Street in reference to a possible underage drinking party. Harlan Police cited ten people including; 14-year-old Emily Ledkins, of Harlan, 17-year-old Natalie Finken, of Defiance, 16-year-old Tiffany Thompson, of Harlan, 17-year-old Rebecca Hanson, of Harlan, 17-year-old Shelby Gundy, of Harlan, 17-year-old Colin Fuhs, of Harlan, 17-year-old Tevin Jansen, of Defiance, 17-year-old Faith Hunt, of Harlan, 20-year-old Matthew Scheuring, of Harlan, and 18-year-old Megan Hunt, of Earling. The ten juveniles were cited and released to their parents.
In other news, 22-year-old Shawn Mosher, of Harlan, was taken into custody following a traffic stop. Mosher was taken to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with driving while revoked and cited for failure to prove security against liability.
Officers were also called to the 1600 block of Exchange Street following a report of six vehicles with broken windshields. The Police are pursuing leads as the investigation continues.
