Val Langbehn, temporary Post Master at the Atlantic Post Office, says one thing to keep in mind is to have your packages ready to go when you get to the window.
“We have a lot of people that come in and say ‘I need help getting this ready’, well we have the tape and we have tables in the lobby; we can give you those things, we can sell you tape or bubble wrap, so you can be ready,” said Langbehn. “We have all the labels, the boxes are free for priority mail; they are here in the lobby, there is no charge for them until you actually mail them.”
Langbehn said it is also important to verify the zip codes before sending your packages. If you have any questions or need help verifying a zip code you can contact the Atlantic Post Office at 243-1208.
The window is open at the Atlantic Post Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
