CASS COUNTY SUPERVISORS APPROVE AMENDMENT TO FY11 BUDGET
(ATLANTIC) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the FY2011 budget following a public hearing at their meeting this morning.
Cass County Auditor Dale Sunderman said the amendment basically includes changes in secondary road allocations; reducing the construction budget and slightly increasing the operating budget.
Sunderman said in order to expend the money they also have to change the appropriations in the County and Iowa Department of Transportation budget. The board approved amending the DOT expenditure appropriation by decreasing Secondary Roads construction by $808,000, increasing snow and ice control by $60,000, and increasing new equipment by $75,000. The County portion included increasing local health by $10,000; flow of revenues for grants, Secondary Roads construction decrease by $808,000, increase snow and ice control by $60,000, increase new equipment by $75,000, and increase capital projects by $60,000.
