(Prescott) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that two boys fell through the ice in a pond near Prescott and drown late Saturday afternoon.
According to the press release, a 9-1-1 call came into the Adams County Dispatcher at around 5:34 p.m. The caller stated that two boy’s ages eight and nine fell through the ice in a pond at 1623 Vanilla Avenue.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department were called to the scene. Once on scene emergency services located both boys under the ice. An Official says Rescue crews were not able to revive the boy’s. Both were Life Flighted.
The Adams County Sheriff is going to release more information Monday morning.
