Tie some jingle bells on your shoes, dawn your favorite Santa hat and head on down to the Jingle Bell Run/Walk this Saturday, December 7th at Rivers Edge Park in Council Bluffs.
The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is to help support the Arthritis Foundation, who is committed to raising awareness and reducing the impact of Arthritis. This disease is the nations leading cause of disability, striking 1 in every 5 adults and 300,000 children. The Jingle Bell Run/Walk has been chosen as one of the Most Incredible Themed Races; participants are encouraged to tie jingle bells to their shoelaces and wear their most festive holiday costume while they run or walk a 5K route, or run a 10K route. If you are apart of the Arthritis Foundation Benefit, you can run or walk the 5K route, or run the 10K route with team members.
Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 am, with the 10K run starting at 9:30am and the 5K run/walk beginning at 10. All participants will receive a long sleeved t-shirt and jingle bells, and participants who raise an additional $10 above the registration fee will receive a goodie bag.
