PENNSYLVANIA MAN BUSTED FOR DRUGS IN POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY
(COUNCIL BLUFFS) A Pennsylvania man was arrested on drug charges in Pottawattamie County Thursday.
Pottawattamie County Sheriff Jeff Danker says Deputy Miller stopped a black Nissan Versa on I-80 near the 14 mile marker because of an issue with the license registration. When Deputy Miller was speaking to the driver, 32-year-old Joshua Cohen of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, he noticed a marijuana bud laying in plain view in the vehicle.
Danker said Miller asked Cohen to exit the vehicle and he deployed his drug dog Francisco.
“Francisco walked around the vehicle and indicated that there was a presence of narcotics within the vehicle,” said Danker. “Deputy Miller did a search of the vehicle, located drug paraphernalia, approximately five pounds of marijuana, about 137 grams of hashish, a glock handgun, and a 308 caliber rifle.”
Danker said Cohen was transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail and was charged with drug possession and delivery of marijuana.
