THE OLD SWITCHEROO BEGINS MAY 23RD IN CASS COUNTY
(ATLANTIC) A new wellness incentive program begins May 23rd in Cass County.
Cass County Wellness Coordinator Bethany Rogers says the six week campaign called ‘The Old Switcheroo’ challenges you to make small changes every day.
“The idea about this campaign is we’re trying to take small changes into big benefits, so we want people to do little changes in their life,” said Rogers. “Let’s say everyday someone drinks Diet Coke, so maybe instead of that Diet Coke everyday they’re going to switch that for juice or water, so a small switch. Or let’s say when they get home from work every day they sit down and watch TV for a half an hour, instead maybe swap that for going and walking for 15 minutes to half hour. So, just small changes to help them get to a more healthier lifestyle instead of one big, huge change.”
Rogers said each participant will receive an MP3/Audio Device Holder and those who successfully complete the campaign will be eligible to be entered into a drawing for a $75 gift card to Browns.
