AUDUBON CITY COUNCIL AGREES TO NEW BUIDLING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
(Audubon) For the first time in 30-years, building permit fees in Audubon are going up. Audubon City Clerk Lora Hansen says the city council approved the change at Monday night’s meeting.
Hansen says the new fee schedule is modeled after La Port City, and could bring in an additional $4,913.00 to the city.
In other business, the city council approved an ordinance defining a no parking area on part of North Division Street. The ordinance was drawn up for safety reasons and will include 250-feet of space on North Division Street between Tracy and Nasby.
The city council also approved a budget amendment to accommodate $250,000 to establish a neighborhood stabilization grant.
