CASS COUNTY SHERIFF WARNS DRUG TRAFFICKERS
(Atlantic) This week two Atlantic men were arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. One of the arrests was part of a month long investigation with assistance from multiple counties. Cass County Sheriff Darby McLaren says the work they have done in the past few months will certainly put a damper on the drug activity in the Cass County area.
“We are trying to make a statement, don’t bring drugs into the county, and think it is going to be okay,” stated McLaren. “We are going to use all our resources including; state and federal agencies to get your attention.”
Thursday it was reported that 43-year-old Harold Eugene Powell with 2nd Degree Burglary, 3rd Degree Burglary, Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Ongoing Criminal Conduct, five counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, five counts of Trafficking, Stolen Weapons, and one charge of 5th Degree Theft.
