(GLENWOOD) A Clarinda teen was injured in a two vehicle rollover accident in Mills County Thursday.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Kourtney Foster was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital following the accident that occurred at around 3:41 p.m.
The report says Foster was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee westbound on Highway 34 near 390th Street when a 1994 Chrysler Concorde, driven by 60-year-old Rodney Courtier of Hastings, attempted to pass her. Courtier struck Foster’s vehicle causing it to skid. Courtier’s vehicle then struck Foster’s vehicle again causing Foster to leave the roadway to the right where the vehicle rolled approximately 2 times.
Foster’s Jeep came to rest on the passenger’s side. Courtier’s Chrysler came to rest on the shoulder of the roadway.
