(Omaha) The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for several counties in southwest Iowa this morning.
Forecasters say fog has developed across much of the area, and some of the fog has become dense, especially in locations north of Interstate 80 and west of Interstate 35.
Visibilities below one-quarer of a mile can be expected in these areas through sunrise. Motorists should expect changes in visibility until after sunrise as temperatures begin to slowly rise.
A dense fog advisory is currently in effect for Pottawattamie, Shelby, Harrison and Monona Counties.
