(Atlantic) Trace Ticknor’s (bottom picture) 4-H market Heifer and and Kaden Wilson’s (top picture) 4-H market steer were selected as Grand Champion’s Monday night at the Cass County Fair.
Ticknor’s market heifer weighed 1235-pounds. He is the son of Rob and Steph Ticknor and a member of the C & M Champions.
Kayden Wilson exhibited his third Grand Champion market animal at the Cass County Fair. His 2013 Champion steer weighed 1298-pounds. Wilson is a member of the Grant Guys and Gals 4-H club, and the son of Chris and Caroline Wilson.
Hayley Carlson showed the Reserve Champion Heifer. Carlson is the daughter of Mike and Pat Carlson, of the Pymosa 4-H Club. Carlson’s heifer weighed 1174-pounds.
Nate Tanner exhibited the reserve champion 4-H market steer. Tanner, is a member of the Brighton 4-H club. He is the son of Todd and Michelle Tanner. His steer weighed 1374-pounds.
In the FFA Division, Emily McDermott, of the Atlantic FFA, exhibited the Grand Champion market Heifer. Her brother Marshall McDermott showed the reserve. They are the daughter and son of Mike and Melanie McDermott.
Wes Erickson, of the CAM FFA, showed the Grand Champion market steer. Tanner Potter, of the Griswold FFA, exhibited the reserve champion.
