(Lenox) The Lenox Police Department is searching for clues in connection with a stolen pickup truck that was recovered in Union County.
According to Lenox Police they received a report of a stolen 2006 Chevy pickup at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27.
The owner of the vehicle stated that he had parked it left the keys in it and went into Casey’s General Store. When he returned a few minutes later the keys were gone. So he called a friend to take him back to his home in Afton to get a spare set. When he returned the next morning, the pickup was gone.
The truck was found the Sunday in rural Union County. It is described as a white Silverado that was taken between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
Lenox Police are asking anyone who may have gone by during that time and noticed any activity to call their office.
