(Atlantic) The Sheep show opened up the activities Saturday morning in day three of the 2013 Cass County Fair. It was a great day for Shelby Stephenson, of the Grant Guys and Gals and Minden Brix, of the Brighton 4-H Clubs .
Stephenson's 140-pound market lamb was selected as the Grand Champion purchased lamb. Travis Henningsen, of the Bear Grove Blazer's 4-H club exibited the reserve Champion. Minden Brix, of the Brighton 4-H Club, showed the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion 4-H Production Lamb. Brix also exibited the Grand Champion Black Face and White Face Breeding Ewe and Supreme Breeding Ewe. Stephenson showed the reserve white face and Heather Reyna, of Brighton finished with the reserve black face.
Reyna, of Atlantic exibited the Grand Champion Black Face Market lamb in the FFA division. Jessica Aupperle, of the CAM FFA was runner-up. Aupperle also showed the Grand Champion White Face Market Lamb. Caitlin Paulsen, of the CAM FFA was reserve and Ethan Wessling of CAM showed the Supreme Breeding Ewe in the FFA division.
The Cass County Fair continues through Tuesday.
