(GLENWOOD) A Glenwood man was arrested for setting fire to the Mills County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 4:25 this (Tuesday) morning, a fire was reported at the Mills County Sheriff’s Office. The fire was quickly extinguished and determined to have been intentionally set. The Mills County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance from the State Fire Marshall. It was determined that at three locations on the property, fires had been set.
Following investigation, 22 year old Adam Houchin was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Arson and Possession of an Incendiary Device. He was held at the Mills County Jail on $35,000 cash only bond.
Houchin and his girlfriend had been involved in a domestic disturbance the prior evening and she was arrested. His girlfriend was at the jail when the fires were started.
