(Audubon) The Audubon City Council passed a resolution approving and authoring amendment to a loan and disbursement agreement with the Iowa Finance Authority last night. The move authorizes and provides for the reissuance of the $2.66 Million Sewer Revenue Capitol Loan Note. As a result, the interest rate will be lowered from 3% to 1.75%.
In other business, the council accepted to the lowest of three bids for their their yearly audit. Schroer and Associates from Council Bluffs submitted the low bid of $5,000.
The Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for T-Bone Days. They saw the city council approve the moving of picnic tables, street closings, use of trash cans/sandbags, and a parade road.
