(Corning) A fourteen-year-old Adams County girl faces numerous charges after leading law enforcement on a pursuit early Sunday morning.
The girl, whose name was not released, has been charged with felony assault on a Peace officer with a motor vehicle, assault on a Police Service Animal, eluding arrest, and violation of an Instruction Permit Limitation.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation in Corning. The girl failed to stop and led law enforcement on a pursuit through the streets of Corning. During the pursuit the female subject put the vehicle in reverse and crashed into a deputy’s vehicle.
The Adams County K-9 unit was deployed and the 14-year-old was arrested without further incident. She was taken to a Juvenile Detention Facility and is waiting to see a judge.
