(Atlantic) Shoppers will fill the sidewalks in Downtown Atlantic on Saturday, July 20 for the annual Crazy Daze event.
Atlantic Chamber Director Megan Roberts says one of the chamber’s goals is to increase local option sales tax receipts with their +5 Grow Atlantic Campaign. Roberts encourages people to shop local.
The campaign is an effort by the Atlantic Chamber members to encourage residents of Atlantic to shift five-percent of their out-of-town spending to stores within Cass County.
During the festivities the Chamber will also serve a free hot dog luncheon Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Thanks with Franks meal is sponsored by Atlantic Animal Health Center, Hockenberry Family Care, Hy-Vee and Wal-Mart. During the luncheon there will be carnival games and activities in the heart of the excitement on 5th and Chestnut Street in Downtown Atlantic.
