ATLANTIC PARK AND REC DIRECTOR ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION
(Atlantic) Atlantic Parks and Recreation director Travis Garrett announced his resignation at the
department's meeting Monday night. Garrett's last day will be June 23rd. Garrett has served as the Parks and Recreation director since June of 2008. He says there are still many projects he would like to see accomplished before he leaves. Garrett thanked the board for all of their hard work over the past two plus years.
In other activity, the department of Parks and Recreation voted to increase the swim team registration fees from $15 to $20. They also discussed adjustments to the layout of the Disc Golf Course as well as resurfacing projects for Sunnyside roads and tennis courts, Bull Creek Walkway, and the City Park Sidewalk Replacement.
