(Audubon) The Audubon County Engineers office is seeking disaster assistance to repair roads and bridges damaged by heavy rain and storms that hit the area on June 24th.
County Engineer Mitch Rydl says 119 sites had water over the roadway, mainly in the Audubon township area. Three bridges were originally closed following the downpour. The bridge on F58 has since been re-opened while they hope to get the 330th and 340th bridge opened as soon as possible.
A cost estimate will be submitted to emergency management on Tuesday. In the meantime, the engineer’s office thanks the residents for their continued patience and cooperation.
