(Atlantic) Cass County Weed Commissioner Larry Randel says it is time to spray those noxious weeds.
“Early on weeds weren’t growing just like everything else; was slow to come on,” mentions Randel. “They’re really starting to bolt now, so you need to get out there and take care of the obnoxious weeds. Thistles appear like they are going to be a problem; as usual. “
And failing to do so could lead to a fine…
Randel states, “I try not to be harsh, but if you have an extreme case, you will most likely hear from me because I’ll probably receive a complaint from someone in your area.”
Randel says it doesn’t make any difference whether you’re a farmer, acreage owner or live within city limits, property owners to keep the noxious weeds under control.
If you have any questions contact the Cass County Recorder’s Office and they will contact Larry Randel.
