FOUR HOSPITALIZED FOLLOWING MILLS COUNTY CRASH
(Malvern) Four teenagers were injured in a rollover accident in Mills County Tuesday evening.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says, 14-year-old Thomas C. Winters, of Glenwood and 16-year-old Amanda Scott, of Malvern, the driver, were listed in critical condition. The two others injured in the crash are identified as 14-year-old Sara Kisicki, of Millard, Nebraska, and 13-year-old Lauren Krupinski, of Malvern. Both were listed in fair condition.
Authorities say the 1994 Lexus 300 ES was eastbound on Noyes Avenue, a hilly stretch of road 2 ½ miles southwest of Malvern. The car went airborne, then went out of control and rolled several times before hitting a ditch and ending up in a field on its top.
Winter and Scott were airlifted from the scene. Kisicki and Krupinski were transported by ambulance.
Investigators are trying to determine how fast the car was traveling prior to the crash.
