(Red Oak) An inmate in the Montgomery County Jail assaulted a paramedic late Monday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Red Oak Rescue was called to the jail for a possible medical emergency of an inmate. When emergency personnel were finished evaluating the medical situation they started to exit the holding area, the inmate, whose name is not available, began assaulting the paramedic.
The inmate faces additional charges of assault on a firefighter/paramedic and is being held on $1,000 cash bond.
