ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED IN JASPER COUNTY ACCIDENT
(JASPER CO.) A Council Bluffs man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Jasper County Thursday that killed one person and injured another.
The Iowa State Patrol says 69-year-old Corina Hook of Zearing, Iowa was killed in the accident that occurred at the junction of Highways 65, 330, and 117. 25-year-old Douglas John Junior of Council Bluffs and 69-year-old Larry Dean Hook of Zering were both transported to Methodist Hospital for injuries.
The report says Larry Hook was driving a 2005 Ford Focus northbound on Highway 117 and attempted to go northbound on Highway 65. Hook failed to yield to a 2009 Ford F250 driven by Douglas John Junior, who was southbound on Highway 330.
The accident remains under investigation
