(Red Oak) A Red Oak man faces numerous charges following a traffic stop late Monday night.
According to the Red Oak Police Department, 18-year-old Shae Daniel Lewis is charged with introducing contraband into a jail facility, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, interference with official acts, and possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Red Oak Police stopped a vehicle in the City View parking lot. Lewis, a passenger, fled on foot and after numerous orders to stop, Officers tazed him. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and booked in. Once inside the jail, the defendant was charged with entering a controlled substance into the jail.Lewis was also written a citation for possession of alcohol under the legal age and was held on $5,000 bond.
Two other’s were charged in the same incident. Nineteen-year-old David Anthony Daugherty III, of Elliott, and Bryce Dalton Ulenberg, of Red Oak were charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age. Daugherty III was also charged with driving while suspended.
