DRUG INVESTIGATION NETS TWO ARRESTS IN VILLISCA
(RED OAK) Two people were arrested on drug charges following an ongoing drug investigation in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants in Villisca early this (Wednesday) morning. The first warrant was executed at 700 S 7th Ave at approximately 2:54 a.m. As a result, 54-year-old Gary Hightshoe of Villisca was arrested and charged with 5 counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Hightshoe was transported to the Montgomery county Jail where he was held on 50-thousand dollars bond.
The second warrant was executed at 208 E 4th Street, Apartment #2 at around 3:55 a.m. 45-year-old Stephanie Gay of Villisca was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and 1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver. Gay was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was held on 50-thousand dollars bond.
The Sheriff’s Office says these arrests are a result of an ongoing drug investigation. Methamphetamine, Marijuana, numerous drug related items, cash, and weapons have been seized.
