ATLANTIC SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES TECHNOLOGY PROPOSAL
(ATLANTIC) The Atlantic School Board approved the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 technology plan proposed purchases at their meeting Tuesday night.
Technology Coordinator Dennis Anderson says the plan includes replacing and refurbishing the computers in the middle school Mac lab, the two Schuler labs and media center, and the partial lab in the media center at the Middle School.
The plan also includes a turnover of 35 high school teacher Mac books and replacing the aging server at the High School.
The total cost of the technology plan is 131-thousand 888-dollars. The funds will either come from the Physical Plant Equipment Levy or Capital Project.
