(Red Oak) The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Central Montgomery County including the city of Red Oak. The warning is in effect until 2:45 a.m.
Dopplar radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are possible in the warned area.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
