GOVERNOR BRANSTAD WILL SPEAK IN GLENWOOD THURSDAY
(Glenwood) Governor Terry Branstad will be in Glenwood today. It's part of the "Jobs for Iowa" tour. Branstad will be joined by Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds at 3:30 at the Community Room at the Glenwood State Bank. It is the goal of Branstad and Reynolds to create 200,000 new jobs. They will talk about cutting Iowa corportae income tax rates, reducing commercial property taxes, remaking the Department of Economic Development into a public-private partnership and touring the country and word in search of jobs that could be relocated to Iowa.
