CLARINDA MAN SENT TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING ACCIDENT
(CLARINDA) One person was sent to the hospital following a two vehicle accident in Page County this (Wednesday) morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Wayne Morrison of Clarinda was driving northbound on Highway 71 when he was overcome by a medical condition causing him to see double and blurred. Morrison’s pickup crossed the center line into the rear driver’s side quarter panel of a southbound pickup driven by David Andersen of Omaha. Andersen pulled to the southbound shoulder and Morrison continued approximately two miles north on Highway 71. Andersen then followed Morrison and passed as he pulled over and started to stop. Andersen pulled over in front Morrison’s vehicle on the northbound shoulder where he was then rear ended by Morrison.
Morrison was transported to the Clarinda Regional Health Center to be treated for a medical condition.
