(Red Oak) No one was hurt in a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 48 and 250th Street in Montgomery County late Tuesday afternoon.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 4:42 pm. Moriah Kammerer of Stanton was southbound on Highway 48 and looked down for a second and when she looked up she was unable to get stopped before rear ending a car driven by Brandy Dawn Pease of Shenandoah. The collision forced the Pease car to strike the rear of a pickup driven by Johnny Lee Madden, of Red Oak. Both vehicles were stopped heading south on Highway 48.
Madden’s vehicle received $1,300 damage, Pease vehicle sustained $13,000 damage, and Kammerer’s car suffered around $3,500.00 damage.
Red Oak Fire responded for hazardous removal.
