(Corning) The Corning Center for Fine Art ‘Second Saturday’ continues on May 11th with featured artist Dianne Osmun. The opening with be from 1PM to 4PM at the CCFA gallery on Main Street in Corning.
Dianne Osmun is a potter and ceramic artist from eastern Iowa. Both of her grandmothers greatly influenced her with their interest in the arts and introduced her to the architecture and culture of many countries. Dianne spent her summers on the farm creating artwork out of everyday materials and now works primarily with stained glass and pottery. Dianne received a degree in Interior Design from Iowa State University and also has a degree in Human Services.
The Second Saturday series is presented by CCFA the second Saturday of every month. Each new opening offers the chance to the meet the artist and enjoy complimentary refreshments and appetizers.
