(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department reports several arrests over the last few weeks.
On Wednesday, April 17th, 24-year-old Steven McCord, of Council Bluffs, was arrested when officers were called to a citizen who needed to talk to an officer. McCord was arrested on an active Shelby County warrant and transported to the Shelby County Jail.
29-year-old Danny Sanchez Jr., of Harlan, was jailed on a charge of driving while intoxicated on April 17th. He was arrested again two days later and ten to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with public intoxication.
On April 18th, 67-year-old Donald Engemann, of Harlan, was taken to the Shelby County Jail and charged with operating while intoxicated.
Jacque Behrens, age 43, of Harlan was arrested on April 23rd and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Three people were arrested on April 24th:
26-year-old Julie Suntken, of Harlan, was arrested and taken to the Shelby County Jail for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.
19-year-old Kaitlyn Stessman, of Defiance, is charged with two counts of forgery and ongoing criminal conduct.
Michael Tremayne, age 21, of Harlan was transported to the Shelby County Jail on an active Shelby County Warrant for revocation of probation.
On Saturday, April 27th, 29-year-old Gabriel Brown, of Harlan was charged with ongoing criminal conduct and two counts of forgery following an investigation of several checks that were stolen, forged, and cashed. Other charges are pending.
On Sunday, 33-year-old Jose Rivera of Harlan was arrested following an investigation into an altercation in the parking lot of Myrtue Medical Center. Rivera is charged with domestic abuse assault.
21-year-old Jesse Seyler, of Harlan was charged Monday with possession of a controlled substance (enhanced), consuming alcohol in a public place, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
