(Audubon) On a unanimous vote, the Audubon County Board of Supervisors changed the status of the Sheriff Analyst/Computer Specialist from part-time to full-time.
The move came during Tuesday’s meeting at the urging of County Sheriff Todd Johnson.
Supervisor Chairman Todd Nelsen says the change will bring added responsibilities to the position which was already 39 hours per week,
"It's not much of an expansion and then the training for a dispatcher/jailor actually gives her more duties. We had questions about whether it was necessary but then when she takes on more duties it will make her more justifiably full-time."
In other business, the board accepted a bid for the asphalt overlay project on Highway F-58 from Exira to Elk Horn. Henningsen Construction was awarded the bid for the project estimated at $1.82 Million.
