CONSTRUCTION WORK BEGINS AT WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
(Atlantic) Construction work has begun for the $15-million Atlantic Waste Water Treatment Plant at the corner of Highway 83 and Sunnyside lane. Atlantic City Administrator Doug Harris says activity started last week.
“When I talked to the contractor last week he was mobilizing his equipment, bringing in all the equipment and supplies he needs,” said Harris. “Just last week got approval for the storm water control program through the DNR for that construction so I know he is planning on breaking ground this month. Of course it won’t be completed until November 2012.”
