(Des Moines) The drought isn’t going to end until we get a few weeks of rain like we’ve had this week. That’s according to Des Moines National Weather Service Hydrologist Jeff Zogg.
“In the short term it looks like we will see more rainfall and as far as continuing in the long term that is more uncertain at this point.”
Zogg says weather patterns have chanced to favor rain lately but this will have to last awhile before you can declare the drought officially dead.
