(Corning) Rescue crews pulled a boy from a hole that appeared to be an old well after the concrete that covered it gave out.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Corinna Morehouse, of Prescott at around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday stating that her son had fallen 10-15 feet into a hole and was trapped at the bottom.
Emergency crews were able to remove the child from the hole safely. The boy was transported to Alegent Health Hospital in Corning where he was treated and released with minor injuries.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prescott Fire Department, Corning Ambulance, and the Corning Fire Department.
