(Red Oak) A Red Oak man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night.
The Red Oak Police Department says the accident occurred at around a little before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 48. Thirty-eight-year-old David Aaron Filmore was eastbound on Highway 34 and was attempting to merge onto Highway 48 and head south. The motorcycle slid on some sand and gravel forcing it into a curb causing the motorcycle to tip over on its’ side.
Red Oak Rescue transported Filmore to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital to meet Mercy One Medical Helicopter. He was airlifted to a facility in Omaha with unknown injuries.
The Red Oak Police Department was assisted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Red Oak Fire and Rescue.
