(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council will act on the new Park and Recreation Maintenance Facility at their meeting Wednesday night. The new facility will replace the old one still on site.
Last week, Atlantic Park and Rec. Director Roger Herring and Tim Tieg, of Snyder and Associates presented three bids. The Park and Rec. Board reviewed and approved the low bid submitted by Iron Specialties for a total of $291,362.00.
They are recommending that the bid be awarded to Iron Specialties for the base bid and alternative Number one and two, (exterior finish and the entrance canopy).
The project will be funded out of the 2012 bond proceeds.
