(Audubon) The Audubon City Council has approved an ordinance raising the cost of turning on and shutting off utilities in the city. The Council passed the final consideration last night. The measure raises the fee from $20 to $50.
Also at Monday night’s meeting, the council approved a resolution allowing the mayor to sign the notice to proceed and contract with Maguire Iron for the water tower project. Maguire Iron’s bid of $176,620 was the lowest of the seven bids that the council received for the repainting and repair work on the water tower.
